Oats, 3s 2d to 3s sd. Potatoes, £3 10s to £4 15s Onions, £8 to £8 ss. AUCKLAND SHARE MARKET. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Sales in the Stock Exchange to-day were: Bank of New Zealand, 47s 6d; Northern Steam, 12s 8d; Soldiers’ Inscribed Stock, £94 10s. LONDON MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date February 15: Tallow.—-We quote- present spot values for the following descriptions: Fine mutton, £2 2s per cwt.; good beef, £ 2 Is 3d per cwt. ; mixed, £1 16s per cwt. Market active. New Zealand Frozen Meat.—-Lamb, per lb. Wether and maiden ewe: Light. 7%<1 per lb; heavy, 6%d per lb. Ewe: Light, 6%d per lb; heavy, 5%d per lb. Market slow. Beef: No change in market. Messrs. Dalgety and Company. Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date February 15: Tallow: 2100 casks of tallow offered and practically all sold. Since our last cablegram prime mutton tallow prices are unchanged; other descriptions are from Is to Is 6d higher. The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office under date February 15: There is a good demand for tallow. Current quotations: Good mutton and beef, 42s per cwt; mixed, 41s per cwt. ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET. Christ. ch, Feb. 15. . At the Addington market to-day there were big yardings of all classes of stock ajid an easing in lamb and beef prices. Mutton also was cheaper. Store Sheep.—A very large yarding and an excellent sale, all classes of stores, wethers and ewes selling particularly well. Forward rape lambs made 15 to 17s 3d, good rape lambs 13s to 14s 9d, medium 9s to 12s 6d, small and inferior 6s to 6s 6d, 6 and 8-tooth halfbred ewes 20s 6d, fair 4,6, and 8-tooth ewes 15s to 175,. falling-mouthed ewes 9s Gd to 12s 6d, aged ewes 6s fid to 8s 6d, forward 4 and 6-tooth wethers 16s to 17s sd, ordinary 12s 3d to 14s, 2-tpoth 12s 3d to 13s. Fat ILambs.—973o were penned, compared wth 10,000 last week. Values opened about Is Gd per head lower than last week, the easing being equivalent to a full halfpenny per lb. Freezing buyers apparently operated on a basis of 7d per lb, but extra prime pens brought up to 7%d. About 1000 lambs were passed in, mostly light sorts. Extra prime lambs realised 26s 6d, prime 20s to 23s 6d, medium 17s to 19s 9d, light and inferior 14s 5d to 16s 6d. Fat Sheep.—Values were slightly easier, for light mutton particularly. Extra prime wethers made 26s 6d to 30s, prime 24s to 255, medium 17s 9d to 20s 7d, light and inferior 13s 9d to 17s 6d, extra prime ewes 26s 3d, prime Gd to 21s Gd, medium 14a to 16s 9d, light and inferior Ils to 13s 9d.

Fat Cattle.—Lower values ruled. Extra prime steers £l4 to £l6 15s, prime £lO to £l3 15s, medium £7 5s to £9 17s 6d, light £5 12s 6d to £7, extra prime cows £lO 12s 6d, prime £5 10s to £7 15s, ordinary £3 to £5 ss, extra prime heifers £ll, prime £6 to £8 17s Gd, ordinary- £4 to £5 15s. Vealers.—Good stuff sold well at better prices. Runners £3 17s 6d, good vealers £2 15s to £3 ss, medium £1 15s to £2, small calves 4s upwards. Store Cattle.—Only nominal values ruled. Three-year-old steers £3 17,s Gd to £4 ss, 2 *6 -y far-olds £3 7s, 2-year-olds £2 2s Gd to £2 7s 6d, yearlings £1 2s Gd to £1 7s Gd, 2-year-old heifers £2 17s Gd to £3 ss, yearlings and 18-month-old £2 5s to £2 10s, medium cows £1 5s to £1 10s, inferior cows 15s 6d to £1 4s, inferior bullr £1 to £1 108. Dairy Cattle.—A weaker demand. Good second and third calvers, springing £9 to £l3 10s, medium second and third calvers £G 10s to £8 10s, good springing heifers £l4 ss. - Fat Pigs.—Baconers Improved In price, but porkers were slightly easier. Choppers, from £3 10s to £5 10s, light baconers £3 15s to £4 10s, heavy £4 IBs to £5 ss, ex ra heavy £5 12s (average price per lb :o 7d), light porkers 60s to 555, heavy 57s Gd to 62s (average, price per lb 9d to 9%d). Store Pigs.—Large stores 35s to 47s Gd, medium 25s to 345, good weaners 14s ’to 18s, small weaners Gs to 13s. BURNSIDE STOCK SALE. LAMBS IN GOOD DEMAND. Dunedin, Feb. 15. There were fair yardings of fat stock in all departments at Burnsk’o to-day. Lambs were in good demand, freezing representatives being keen buyers at an advance in prices. Pigs also sold well at slightly advanced rates. Sheep were a. shade easier. The demand for fat cattle showed an improvement on late sales. Fat Cattle.—A fair yarding, numbering 192 head of good quality. At the commencement of the sale prices showed an improvement and values may be quoted at 10s per head above last week’s rates. Prime ox beef handy weights, was worth 25s per 1001 b, and heavyweights relatively cheaper. Prime bullocks realised from £ll to £l2 2s Gd, medium ’£B 10s td £lO 10s, light and unfinished sorts from £7 upwards. Prime heifers realised from £7 10s to £8 15s, medium £6 10s to £7 ss, light and aged, from £4 10s upwards.

Sheep.—A good yarding, numbering 2310 head. There was a preponderance of ewes, although there were a number of pens of prime heavy-weight wethers. Competition was not quite as good as last week, values falling back to those which ruled a fortnight ago. Prime wether mutton was worth approximately 4d per lb. Extra prime heavyweight wethers realised from 27s 9d to 30s, prime 23s to 26s 6d, medium 19s to y 22s, light and unfinished sorts from 16s Gd upwards. Extra prime heavyweight ewes made /rom 23s to 275, prime 17s 3d to 20s fid, medium 15s to IGs 6d, light and aged Ils Gd upwards. Lambs.—A good yarding numbering 1902 bond of fair io medium quality. Freezing buyers infused more life into the sale than v.as the case last week, and prices advanced from 9d_. to Is 6d per head. Values ranged from 15s to 26s fid per head. These prices work out at about 7per lb.

Store Cattle.—A small yarding of indifferent. quality. The demand was very slack, buyers showing no desire to stock up with the class that was offered. The prices obtained were on the low basis of those lately ruling. Figs.—A medium yarding was offered. Stores sold well. A good demand was experienced foi” baconers at an advance of 2s Gd to 5s per head, and for porkers at. from 7s Gd to 10s per head. Best baconers realised from fi%d to 7%d per lb, and best porkers from 8d to B%d per lb.
