Among the various valuable prizes to be competed for at the New Plymouth Horticultural Society’s autumn show is a pair of handsome vases presented by Messrs. Whites’, Ltd. These are on view in the window of the Modern Tailors, Ltd., Devon Street. The trophy is for the points prize in the decorative classes. A large space has been allocated, so that exhibits will be shown to the best advantage. Much interest is already displayed in this section. Entries close on Tuesday, February 21. Those who are looking forward to securing bargains at the Melbourne, Ltd., will not be disappointed. Our readers are asked to keep a sharp lookout for the publication jf the sale lines.
