APPOINTMENT OF TEACHERS.

IN TAHA’ KI DISTRICT. A meeting of the Teachers’ Selection Committee of the Taranaki Education Board was held at the board’s office, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, Mr. S. G. Smith, M.P., presiding. There were also present: Messrs. P. J. H. White, H. Trimble, and F. Hoskin. It was decided to recommend the following appointments: Mangamingi (sole teacher), Mr. J. Jolly. Matemateonga (sole teacher), Mr. HW. Young. Eltham (6th assistant), Miss L. Whiting. Fitzroy (2nd assistant), Mr. L. F. Binns. Fitzroy (12th assistant), Miss C. G. Robertson. Huirangi (assistant), Miss M. G. Smith. Newalj (assistant), Miss V. P. Schieb. Nornranby (2nd assistant), Miss C. Linn. Stratford (10th assistant), Miss Ida Boon. Marco (assistant), Miss N. Coyne.
