WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following weather forecast was issued at 4 p.m. to-day: "Present indications are for moderSrte to strong south-east winds northward of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, and easterlies elsewhere, backing to northerlies shortly everywhere. Fair weather may be expected generally, but unsettled and showery conditions in northern and east coast districts of the North Island. The barometer will have a falling tendency soon.”
