TARANAKI’S EXPORTS.

PAST YEAR’S FIGURES A BIG INCREASE. Taranaki’s exports for the year ending December 31, 1921, were a record, amounting to £5,386,490, of which dairy produce contributed over four and a half millions and meat £663,761. Wool, hides, skins and tallow were, as was to be expected, considerably below the 1920 figures, the exact decrease being £450,381. The total exports equal £B5 per head of population, the average for the whole of New Zealand being leas than £4O for the same period. Details are aa follow:
