END OF THE SESSION. _ SATURDAY’S SITTING. LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Feb. 11. The legislative Council met at 10 a.m. The Finance Bill was put through all stages without amendment and parsed. The Local Bills Committee reported that the Christchurch District Drainage Bill did not comply with Standing Orders. Sir Thos. Mackenzie moved, that Standing Orders be suspended to allow the Bill to proceed. This was carried on the casting vote of the Speaker. However, on the motion of the Hon. O. Samuel, the Bill was referred 'back, to the committee.
