SUPREME COURT.
TARANAKI SESSIONS. OPENING TO-MORROW. There is a somewhat lengthy calendar for the quarterly sessions of the Supreme Court, which open at New Plymouth to-morrow. The eignt caeca set down on the criminal list include one for sentence and seven for trial, and they involve a number of serious 4 .charges. There are two divorce peti»*« tions and many civil actions, including a number held over from last session owing to the pressure of business on that occasion. Three actions are listed for hearing before a jury of 12. Appeals. bankruptcy matters and disputes involving the administration of estates also figure on the list. Mr. Just&n Chapman will preside.
