SAVAGE WOLVES.
RAID A VILLAGE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Feb. 7. The Paris correspondent of the Daily Mail reports that a pack of wolves made savage by the intense cold, raided at daylight the village of Petronani, in Roumania, and killed 18 villagers before they were driven off with hatchets and pitchforks. The countryside is panic-striken and the authorities are issuing rifles.—United Service.
