The Rarawa was scheduled to leave Oneliunga yesterday afternoon for New Plymouth. and should arrive here at 5.30 o’clock this morning. She will sail again at 8.30 p.m., and return ■ to New Plymouth on Saturday morning to accommodate race traffic.
WAIKAWA SAILS. The Union Company’s trans-Paciflc cargo steamer Waikawa completed discharging her New Plymouth cargo yesterday and sailed for Adelaide at 1.30 p.m. j KAHIKA'S MOVEMENTS. The Union Company advise that the Kahika was expected to leave Wellington yesterday for New Plymouth via Picton. She snouid ! arrive here to-cnorrow. KAITANGATA THURSDAY. The Kaitangata (U.S.S. Co.) is to leave Auckland to-day for New Plymouth with the balance of her cargo from Australian ports. She is expected to arrive on Thursday.
CAPE MAY BERTHS. The Cape May, which arrived in thei stream from Napier on Friday, berthed at the wharf when the Waikawa sailed yesterday afternoon. The Cape Maj- has quantity of benzine, kerosene and general cargo to discharge. An up-to-date American steamer of 6867 tons, the Cape May is in command of C<sptain C. A. Holbert, who has with him the following officers: Chief, Mr. A. M. Anderson; second, Mr. R. C. Hall; third, Mr. E. B. Waters; wireless operator, Mr. J. H. Gray; chief engineer, Mr. A. J. Hamm; first assistant engineer, Mr. R. B. McLaren; second, Mr. W. D. Hallshorne; third, Mr. C. J. Shrlner; chief steward, Mr. M. Scott. The vessel is scheduled to sail for Timaru at 5 p.m. to-day. HUIA SAILS. The small steamer Hula, which put in to New Plymouth for shelter on Saturday, continued her voyage to Wanganui yesterday afternoon. RUAPEHU DUE THURSDAY. I A wireless unessage received on Saturday a from the Ruapehu, which left Southampton | on De?em’oet 23 advised that the vessel exit pected to arrive in the stream at Wellington S early on Thursday. The Waiotapu is now loading at Pacific coast ports for Auckland. Napier, Wellington, New Plymouth, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney. She will probably leave San Francisco about February 20. The Waitemata, from Auckland, via Papeete, is due at San Franc/sco about Friday. She will load at Pacific coast ports after the .Vaiotapu for Auckland, Lyttelton, Dunedin Melbourne, and Sydney Thq Waikawa left New Plymouth yesterday for Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney to complete discharge. The Waihemo is at present loading at Pacific coast ports for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. The Wairuna is to clear Sydney about Saturday for Pacific coast ports, where she will load during March for New Zealand and Australian ports. The Hauraki is expected to load at Pacific coast ports during April for New Zealand and Australian ports. KIA ORA AT PORT CHALMERS. An .arrival at Port Chalmers on Saturday morning was the S.S. land A. steamer Ria Ora, which was dispatched from London on December 22. The vessel will discharge at Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Auckland, subsequently loading in the Dominion for Home. MARAMA LEAVES SAN FRANCISCO. The R.M.S. Marama left San Francisco on February 1 for Papeete, Rarotonga, and Wellington She should arrive at Papeete on February 12, and is due at Wellington on February 22.
