SECURING BETTER FACILITIES. FOR AUSTRALASIAN TRADE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Feb. 1. Sir Joseph Cook and Mr. Larkin arranged to-day with the Port of London authority for the transfer of berthing accommodation for the Bay class steamers from Tilbury to King George docks, adjoining the Royal Albert docks, thereby reducing the distance of transport to London by half, while securing greater facilities for handling cargo.
