THE JURY LOCKED UP. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. San Francisco, Feb. 1. The Arbuckle case went suddenly to the jury, the prosecution announcing that, by agreement with the defence, it Would abide by the summing up. Eleven men and one woman compose the jury, which is locked up. One woman “alternate” was discharged, having declared that she would vote “not guil-ty.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
