SENTENCED TO DEATH. By Telegraph.—Presj Assn —Copyright Received Feb. 3, 9.15 p.m. London. Feb. 2. Edward Black has been sentenced to death for the murder of his wife. Aus.-N.Z. Cable 1 Assn. Black, an insurance agent, left home on an alleged business engagement and a few hours after bis departure his wife became ill, and subsequently died. The doctor refused a certificate, and the organs of the dead woman were analysed. Black was eventually arrested and brought to trial.
