THE RARAWA. The Rarawa was scheduled to leave Onehunga yesterday afternoon for New Plymouth, and should arrive here at about 5.30 o’clock this morning. . She will return north to-night at 8.30. CAPE MAY AT ANCHOR. The Cape May. from American ports, arrived from Napier yesterday morning and anchored in the stream, where she will await the departure of the Waikawa. The Cape May is a vessel of 6847 tons, and her length is 430 feet. Captain Holbert is in command, and he . has with him Captain Post, late of the Government steamer Turanexat, as coastal pilot. The vessel has 12,500 cases of benzine, 5000 cases of kerosene, and about 70 tons of general cargo to discharge. KAIKOURA SAILS. The loading of the liner Kaikoura was completed yesterday, and the vessel sailed for Napier at 7 p.m. The total cargo lifted comprised 8000 freight carcases from the Waitara works, 3000 from Smart Road, and 300 bags of sundries. WAIKAWA TO BERTH. The W’aikawa, which arrived from Wellington oh Thursday, will be berthed early this morning to commence discharging her cargo of oil and general (merchandise. CARGO FROM SOUTH. The Kahika (U.S.S. Co.) left Dunedin on Thursday for New Plymouth. The vessel will load at Oaunaru, Tlmaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and will also call at Picton to pick up any cargo offering. The Kahika is due here on Tuesday. KAITANGATA DELAYED. The Union Company’ advise that the Kaitangata will not now leave W’hangarei until Tuesday, and is not expected here until Thursday. KIA ORA REPORTED. A wireless message has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company from the Kia Ora, en route from London, stating that the vessel will arrive at Port Chalmers to-day.
