London, Feb. 1. A doctor attending a girl influenza patient in Bristol was astonished when his clinical thermometer recorded a temperature of 112 degrees. Believing the thermometer faulty he tried two others and each registered 112 degrees. Treatment reduced the temperature to 9G.6, but the following morning the girl’s temperature had risen to 114 degrees, which is unparalleled in medical history.
