THE BUILDING TRADE. (To the Editor.) Sir,—ln reference to your article in yesterday’s paper, that a five-roomed house can now be built for £750. I should be pleased to hear of any builder that would undertake the erection at that price. I intend building, but, no doubt, like many others, am holding off, because of the heavy outlay. Quotations for a house of this size are more In tire region of £1250, a sum which the ordinary Individual cannot afford. If builders will undertake to erect at the price you quote, the activity would be (markedly Increased. —I am, etc., TENANT. Waitara, February 2, 1922.
