The Northern Company advises that the Rarawa will not arrive at New Plymouth until 5.30 a.m. to-morrow. The vessel did not reach Onehunga until late yesterday morning, and with a large amount of cargo each way it was impossible to dispatch her at the usual time. She will sail at Bi3o to-morrow night on the return trip. ) WAIKAWA AT ANCHOR. The Union Company’s liner ~’alkawa, from tlui. Pacific coast via New Zealand ports, arrived in the stream from Wellington yesterday afternoon and dropped anchor to await a berth. The vessel will be brought alongside when the Kaikoura is dispatched for Napier. She has 6500 cases of benzine and a quantity of general cargo to discharge. THE ZITA SAILS. The auxiliarj’ schooner Zita completed discharging her cargo of tar yesterday and sailed for Wellington at 2 p.m. It is probable the vessel will return to New Plymouth, LARGE COAL CARGO. Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., have received advice indicating that the steamer City of Corinth is due at New Plymouth in about three week's time with a. cargo of 6200 tons of Welsh coal, consigned to the New Zealand Railway Department. KAI ORA TO LOAD. The Shaw Savill steamer Kia Ora (Newton King, Ltd., local agents) is due at. New Plymouth towards ti e end of this month to load produce for the United Kingdom. The vessel will load frozen meat from the Smart Road, Waitara and Patea works, the total consignment amounting to about 28,000 freight carcases. In addition the kia Ora will load 12,000 boxes of butter and 6500 crates of cheese from the Moturoa works. KAHIKA FROM SOUTH. The Kahika left Dunedin at 10 o’clock on Wednesday night for New Plymouth via ports. It is anticipated that the vessel will load «.t Wellington to-morrow or Monday, and will arrive here on Tuesday. KAITANGATA FROM NEWCASTLE. Tie Union Company advise that the Kaltangata is scheduled to leave Auckland tonight for Npw Plymouth. The vessel has 1000 tons of cargo from Newcastle to land, but particulars of it are not available. CAPE MAY TO-DAY. The Cape May Ibft Napier at 5 p.m. on Wednesday for New Plymouth, and should arrive here to-day. The vessel has 12,500 cases of benzine, 5000 cases of kerosene, and about 70 tons of general cargo to discharge, but will not be able to berth until next week. ULI MA ROA FROM SYDNEY. The Huddart-Parker Company’s inter-cblo-nial passenger steamer Ulimaroa. arrived in the stream at Wellington at 2.15 p.m. on Wednesday, from Sydney direct. The transhipments are ex the following vessels: Verentia, E'astern Moon, Themistocles, Moreton Bay, Malwa, Montoro, Whakatane, Annaim, Shinpo Maru.
