A good pipe will last a very long time, and as it ages and mellows the owner becomes very attached to it. The widest range of pipes in Taranaki is to be found at W. H. Preece’s shop, Devon Street Central. These range in price from 3s to; the case and high-grade pipes of 30s and\4os. But all have been built to satisfy the smoker who is particular ana takes a pride in his smoking outfit*
