BOY KILLED BY TAXI. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. George Houghton, aged seven, 'was killed on a street comer this evening by being run over by a taxi. The boy was playing in the centre of the road and rain on the windscreen obstructed the driver’s view. RUN OVER,' AND KILLED. Invercargill, Last Night. Francis Coutts, aged 54, manager of Whittingham’s brewery, met with a fatal accident this afternoon. When alighting from a motor lorry he fell and was run over, sustaining injuries to which he succumbed shortly afterwards.
