IN THE MATTER o£ ' “The Electric Power Boards Aet, 1918” And IN THE MATTER of a Petition to His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand to constitute an Electric Power District comprising portions of the Inglewood, Stratford and Eltham Counties and the Eltham Borough to be called “The Taranaki Electric Power District.” is hereby given that a Petition signed by at least one-fourth of the Ratepayers of each of the following constituent Districts, namely, part of the Inglewood County, part of the Stratford County, part of the Eltham . County and the Eltham Borough the boundaries of which District are described in paragraph 3 of the said Petition praying that the aforesaid Districts be constituted an Electric Power District and that the following Districts, namely, other part of the said Inglewood County, other part of the said Stratford County, the Stratford Borough, other part of the said Eltham County, the Kaponga Town District, the Whangamomona County, the Clifton County, the Waitara Borough, the Waimate West County, the Manaia Town District, the Hawera - County, the Hawera Borough and the Normanby Town District the boundaries-of which Districts are described in paragraph 4 of the said Petition be constituted

“outer areas” and giving particulars of the number of Ratepayers and the capital and unimproved values of all rateable property within each proposed constituent District will be presented to His Excellency the Governor-General after the expiration of one month from the publication of this notice. x A copy of the said Petition has. been deposited at the respective offices of each of the Local Authorities of the said proposed constituent Districts, namely, the Inglewood County Council, the Stffttford County Council, the Eltham County Council and the Eltham Borough Council and will be open for inspection during the usual office hours of the said several Local Authorities fof one month from the publication of thi§ notice.
