New Zealand— Crossbreds, greasy 5300 bales, scoured 900 bales, slipe 2000 ba Sale of 13th, comprising 4540 bales, postponed until January 16 on account of fog.
OTHER ADVICES. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-oper-ative Distributing Company have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated January 20: Lamb: Hinds advanced l.Jd, fores Id. Light mutton advanced id, beef hinds ?,d°per lb. Wool rules strong with indications of upward tendency for greasy merino and greasy super crossbred; others steady. Tallow—Demand for spot not good. Some interest forward. Butter, firm, 128 s, 1355. Cheese firm, 85s to 90s. The Bank of New Zealand, produce, department, has received the following advice from its London office under date January 20:— ‘ Butter. —Market firm; 130 s to 13.? s per cwt.
