A VESSEL’S EXPERIENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrigtt. Received Jan. 25, 8.20 p.m. Suva, Jan. 25. The steamer Suva, which arrived today, reports encountering a full cyclonic storm on Friday and Saturday, and she was hove to for thirty-six hours. The vessel suffered only slightly from the huge seas. Dr. Lambert, a passenger, says that in 80,000 miles of sea travel he never saw such a storm. The Suva received the S.O.S. call from the American schooner Helen B. Sterling, and later H.MA.S. Melbourne reported rescuing the crfjw.
