MATCHES AT HASTINGS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. In a professional boxing contest at Hastings to-night C. Maddox (Hastings) beat J. Whittome (Auckland) on points in ten rounds. P. Hannah (Hastings) and W. Preston (Wellington) met in a 15-round boat, the former winning on points.
