BUTTER SHIPMENTS INCREASE. £5,060,000 IN ONE YEAR. TARANAKI’S IMPORTANT PART. The following figures show the deta of the export of New Zealand butter a| cheese from each district for the twe months ended November, 1921 and 1 The increase in the quantity of but shipped was remarkable. While the to export for the twelve months ended vember 30, 1920, was valued at £2,908, the export for the similar period in t was valued at £9,094,739, an increaee over seven millions. The figures fro Auckland are remarkable, £5,301,8 against £1,860,731. New Plymouth a shows a very substantial advance, £l,lO 814, against £247,874. It must be rente bered, however, that the purchases me by the Imperial Supplies Department <h ing the war period disrupted shipmei from various Dominion ports. ' ./■
