PREMIER RESIGNS.

The Premier has resigned because his policy was attacked in Parliament, and he was unable to obtain funds to pay troops and officials several months of arrears of salary. The American million dollar advance previously cabled was not forthcoming owing to a hitch in the negotiations.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
