At the mixed wool sales there was a brisk general demand at full late rates for both merinos and crossbreds, Americans buying merinos freely. New Zealand (Mount Harper) made 23Jd per lb.; Surprise Downs 25id to 23d per lb. The Bradford market is firm with very little forward business.
