CHANGES IN COURSES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Senate adopted the arts and commerce committee's recommendation tlirtt Greek history, art ami literature be one of the subjects for the B.A. degree nt the pass grade. The Senate adopted a new option in the definition of English for the 8.A.. allowing students desiring to pursue the study of English mainly in the field of literature to take a course without Anglo-Saxon and middle English, which were hitherto required. The option in English for the LL.B, was altered to correspond with the B.A. It was decided to make research in Eng-, lish, Latin, Green, French and German optional in languages at the honors stage. The diploma in education was thrown upen to graduates in other faeulties than arts and science.
