The Senate adopted a new option in the definition of English for the 8.A.. allowing students desiring to pursue the study of English mainly in the field of literature to take a course without Anglo-Saxon and middle English, which were hitherto required. The option in English for the LL.B, was altered to correspond with the B.A. It was decided to make research in Eng-, lish, Latin, Green, French and German optional in languages at the honors stage. The diploma in education was thrown upen to graduates in other faeulties than arts and science.
