ESMONT SHOW.
ENTRIES CLOSE TO-NIGHT. Fnrmors and all interested in the Egmont A. and P. Show, which takes place on Wednesday, January 25, and Thursday, January 26. at the showgrounds, Hawera, are reminded that entries in all classes will close finally with the acting-secretary (Mr. M. C. Crighton, Hawera). at 9 o'clock to-night. From the entries already received the success of the show is assured, and a number of further entries have been promised. The cattle and horse sections promise to be particularly strong, while the entries in the home industries section indicate that the ladies are taking a keen interest in the show. The dog trinls, which have been such a. prominent feature of the show, promise to be more interesting than ever, entries having been received from as far away as the Waikato. The committee are hard at work completing arrangements at the showground, so that exhibitors can rely on their comfort, -as well as the comfort of their stock, which are being well catered for.
