LEAGUE OF NATIONS.
FAITH IN ITS VITALITY. BY DR. WOODROW WILSON. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. New York, Jan. 16. The New York Times’ Washington correspondent states that, breaking the silence which he has studiously maintained since leaving White House, exPresident Wilson to-night renewed his faith in the vitality of the League of Nations. Following a greeting from a large crowd of men and women who marched to his home on the occasion of the launching of the million dollar Woodrow Wilson foundation, which will be used to record great deeds in the public service, Mr. Wilson said: “The League can take care of itself, and those who do not regard it will have to look out for themselves. I have no anxiety for it. My only anxiety is to see our great people turn their faces in the right direction and move with all their force. I thank you most heartily for this demonstration. I do not deserve it, but I enjoy it nevertheless. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
