The Appeal Court at Naples finally settled litigation which has lasted for five centuries and involved £207,W0,000,000. Early in the fifteenth century the Emperor Charles the L'lttn <rave Hector Bothen, his chief master of the horse, iron mines, watercourses and forests spread over a large part of Calabria. Bothen’s heirs have been seeking confirmation of these rights, which were confiscated in the sixteenth cemtury. The Appeal Court confirmed the confiscation. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
