The meeting of the Southern Parliament at Dublin ratified the treaty unanimously. Mr. De Valera’s followers did not attend. The following, provisional Government was constituted: Messrs. AG*-jNST LIMITING AMNESTY. UNIONISTS TO CONFER. Received Jan. 14, 5.5 p.m. London, Jan. 13. The Committee of the Irish Self-De-termination League passed a resolution of protest against the exclusion of offenders sentenced in England from the amnesty in Ireland, declaring that continued imprisonment was an act of English vindictiveness, and a breach of faith with the Irish Government. The Southern and Western Unionists meet on January 19 to discuss the possibility of 00-operating with Mr. Griffiths’ ’Provisional Government. PRISONERS RELEASED. MILITARY WARNING AT BELFAST. London, Jan. 13. Irish prisoners at Brixton, Bentonville, and Wlormwood Scrubbs have been released. The military at Belfast have warned the public that in the event of firing from houses they will enter and evict and arrest the occupants and clqse or destroy the premises.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SINN FEIN POLICY. BIG CONGRESS TO BE HELD. London, Jan. 13. Owing to tfie divergent views regarding the future policy, at a meeting of the Sinn Fein National Council at Dublin, Mr. De Valera presiding, it was resolved to summon a Sinn Fein Congress of 2800 delegates on February 7 to determine the matter. —Aus.-N.Z.
