OPUNAKE.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) The Federal Band social on Wednesday evening was one of the best (functions held this season, everyone spending a very pleasant time. Thursday evening was very wet, and in consequence the Eltham Pipe Band moonlight concert and dance was not so well attended. It was unfortunate, as a number of visitors in character dress were present. A really good “turn out” was spoilt by the weather.
