LONDON TO AFRICA. * / London, Jan. 1. The French Air Transport Company is arranging a combined service for reducing the London-North Africa journey to under 24 hours.

A new four-engined aeroplane, with a coach of the tube train type, and containing a miniature kitchen, will leave London at 9.30 a.m. and will arrive at. Paris at 11 a.m., where luncheon will be obtainable. Lyons will be reached at 3 p.m., and Marseilles at 5..30 p.m. There dinner will be served, and thence the airship will depart for Algiers, where it will arrive at nine o’clock in the morning.
