DOMINION TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The singles competition in the Dominion bowling tournament has reached the semi-finals. Those remaining in the competition are: Kerr (Masterton) two lives; Rigby (North East Valley), Smith- (Caledonian), Adess (St. Kilda), Carolin (St. Kilda), each one life. The pairs competition will start to-morrow, the singles being finished on a date to be fixed, probably on Saturday.
taranaki tournament, A record number of entries has been received for the Taranaki Centre’s annual tournament, which takes place on the New Plymouth greens in the last week of the present month. The total number of rinks nominated is about 72, compared with 56 last year. Of the entries received New Plymouth clubs contribute 30 rinks, and the remainder are frem other clubs affiliated to the Taranaki Centre, and rinks from various parts of the North Island.
