A CHINESE CONVICTED By Telegraph.—Press Association. Greyfnouth, Last Night. In the Magistrate’s Court to-day, before Mr. Meldrum, S.M., Sam Pak Chong was convicted of keeping a gaming house for the of playing pakapoo, and was fined £25 and costs Several other defendants found on the premises were convicted and ordered to pay costs.
