OIL CONCESSION IN RUSSIA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrlgtt Received Jan. LI, 9.15 p.m New York, Jan. 11. According to a Los Angeles message the importance of Vanderlip’s Soviet concessions was disclosed to-day, when the Standard Oil Company, California, purchased one quarter interest in the Vanderlip syndicate. They purpose prospecting for oil at Kamschatka when the Uniteci States recognises the Russian Government. The Vanderlip concession begins for a period of sixty years immediately after recognition. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
