Sydney, Jan. 11. The weather was fine and the wicket good. New South Wales, in their second innings, have lost four wickets for 334 (Andrews 129, Morgan not out 39, Wells not out 33). Whitty, at two for 82, found Andrews’ stump in the first over after a chanceless innings including fourteen fours. Wells and Morgan breezily scored the balance. A MANAGER’S BONUS. Received Jan. 11, 7.30 p.m. Sydney, Jan. 11. Mr. Howard, manager of the Australian cricket team which visited New Zealand, stated that he does not intend to accept the bonus of £lOO which the Board of Control voted him.—Aus.* N.Z. Cable Assn.
