N.S.W. v. SOUTH AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Jan. 11, 12.40 a.m. Sydney, Jan. 10. The weather was fine and the wicket good. South Australia, in their second innings, made 229 (A. Richardson 28, Rundell 55, Pritchard not out 35). Bowling: Ives 4 for 31, Wall 2 for 38, Hendry 2 for 38. New South Wales’ second innings produced 356 for 3 wickets (Cranney 49, Punch 65, Andrews not out 123). The batsmen early commanded the bowling and runs were added rapidly, the first century taking 74 minutes. Andrews batted aggressively, scoring freely all round the wicket.
