Emery, manager for the visitors, stated that the visit was not only a matter of sport, but to foster good feeling and fellowship between Africa and Australia and New Zealand. and so strengthen the Empire. He looked forward to the Empire competing at Olympic games as one body, instead of being split up as it was at present.
