LAST YEAR’S OPERATIONS. BIG INCREASE IN REVENUE. With a record showing growing business the New Plymouth tramways last year earned a revenue of £20,136 Is lid. This is the actual revenue collected from cars, and the number of passengers was 1,878,212. Passengers in H9OO totalled 1,843,112, so that the increase represents 35,000, and the advance in revenue is over £3OOO. The details of the receipts for the year and a comparison with 1920 are given below : PASSENGERS.

LAST WEEK’S RETURNS. INCREASE IN REVENUE. The returns from the New Plymouth tramways for the week ending last night show substantial increases both in the revenue earned and in the number of passengers, the increases being £B2 18s 9d and 5663 respectively over the figures for the corresponding week of last year.
