JN pursuance of and subject to the powers vested in it by “The DogRegistration Act, 1908.” and the amend- ; ments thereto, the New Plymouth Bor- 1 ough Council hereby fixes the registration fee for each, dog within the said Borough for the year ending 31 st December, 1922, to be the sum of 10/-,. or 7/6 if paid before the 31st March, 1922: Sheep and Cattle Dogs as described in sub-section (c) of section 8 of the above Act 2/6. And the said Council hereby appoints the Municipal Offices, Liardet Street,. New Plymouth, to be the Registration Office at which dogs may be registered and at which the Register shall be kept, and appoints Reginald Day to be Registrar under the provisions of the said Act. F. ELTHAM-OPUNAKE MAIL CAE SERVICE. Leave Opunake 7.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. Arrive Opunake 10.45 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. Leave Eltham 9.15 a.m. and 6.40 p.m. Next week the 6.40 p.m. car from Eltham will leave at 5 p.m., and in the winter time at 4.30 p.m. pAR leaves Eltham for Kaponga at 6.40 p.m. regularly, and will take passengers beyond if necessary. Opunake people can be sure of getting a seat on the mail train at Eltham by taking this route and by coming to Eltham by the 1.30 car can have two hours there for business, or all day if they come in by the 7.30 a.m. ear, getting again at 6.30 p.m. We are going to put a comfortable pneumatic tyred bus on this route soon, and will reduce the present fares, so we hope the settlers between Opunake and Eltham will patronise our service.
