The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga at 5.30 a.m. yesterday with a large number of passengers and 80 tons of cargo. The vessel sailed again for the north at 8.30 p.m.
ALEXANDER TO-DAY. The Alexander left Westport at 4 p.m. yesterday for New Plyunouth, and should arrive here late to-day. The vessel has about 300 tons of coal to put out here, and will discharge on Monday. ' CORINNA ON MONDAY. The Union Company advise that the Corinna is due from Dunedin and South Island ports on Monday. The vessel will bring general cargo. THE P. AND O. COMPANY. A cable from Sydney states that the two new P. and O. liners, the Mongolia and Moldavia, will be commissioned for the Australian mail service in May. MANUKA FOR AUCKLAND. The Union Company's intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka left Sydney at 3.30 p.m. on Thursday for Auckland, where she is due on Monday. THE MAKURA. The Union Company advises that the Makura is scheduled to leave Sydney on January 12 on the return voyage to Vancouver, via Auckland. The vessel is due at the northern port on January 16, and will sail the following day for Vancouver. PORT LINCOLN LEAVES NEW YORK.
Cabled advice received by the C. and D. Line announced the departure from New York on December 31 of the Port Lincoln, en route to Auckland and Wellington, via Panama. The vessel is due at Auckland about February 1, and is expected at Wellington a week later. THE CANADIAN CRUISER. Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co. advise that the Canadian Cruiser, en route . from New York, is due at Auckland on January 12, and should now reach Wellington seven days later. WAIKAWA LEAVES SAN FRANCISCO. With cargo, mainly gasoline, for Auckland, the Union Company’s freighter Waikawa left San Francisco on Wednesday. She will discharge at Napier, Wellington, and Melbourne. The vessel is due at Wellington about the end of the month. LEITRIM LEAVES LIVERPOOL. Cabled advice has been received by the Federal Line to the effect that the Leitrim cleared Liverpool on December 31, en route to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin THE WAIMARINO. The Walmarlno, from San Francisco, via Auckland, is now expected to reach Wellington on Monday. ESSEX ARRIVES HOME. According to a cable message received by the Federal Line, the Essex arrived at London on Deceunber 31 from Wellington. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
