ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY’S. “ONE HOUR BEFORE DAWN.” The power of suggestion plays an important part in “One Hour Before Dawn,” Mansfield Scott’s mystery drama which introduces H. B. Warner at Everybody’s to-night. In “One Hour Before Dawn,” simply through the power of suggestion,” Warner believes that he committed a murder, one of the most baffling mystery photo-plays of the year. It is a‘ story of mystery that will challenge the keenest minds. The mystic power of hypnotism adds to the intricacy of the plot. The story also has its share of romance, with Anna Q. Nilsson giving splendid support. The bill includes gazette, travel comedy and “The Lost City.” The matinee to-morrow commences at 2 p.m. The big special attraction for Monday and Tuesday next is a double star bill presenting Clara Kimball Young in her captivating and brilliant production “Straight from ’Paris,” and the late Virginia Rappe in the First National attretion “A Twilight Baby.” Despite extra cost, this programme will be shown at usual prices.

THE PEOPLE’S. LAST NIGHT OF ALICE LAKE. Alice Lake, in her big Metro, “Uncharted Seas,” does some of her finest work. As Lucretia Eastman, the young woman who gives her husband a last chance to regenerate himself, and prove that he is something else than an arrant rotter and coward, Alice Lake has a role pre-eminently fitted to her powers. The theme of “Uncharted Seas,” with its climax far up in the Behring Straits, amid the dangers that beset travellers, is far out of the beaten road of pictures. The bill includes gazette, comedy and “The Diamond Queen.” To-morrow’s change presents the big Selznick dramatic production “Children of Destiny.” The matinee to-morrow commences at 2 p.m.
