THE. HANDLING CHARGES, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wairoa, Last Night. A largely attended meeting, rej/.esenting sheep farmers, stock firms, and the meat company, unanimously favored a better scheme of handling New Zealand meat. It was considered that the industry was in danger of being wiped out unless the freezing, stripping and marketing charges were considerab’y reduced.
