A SETTLER’S DEATH.
FATALITY AT URUTI. A well-known settler of the Uruti district, Mr. Charles Thompson, loet his life yesterday by his horse falling on top of him. It appears he went out at about 3.15 p.m. to look over his farm on the Moki Road, and a quarter of an hour later he was found dead, everything pointing to his horse having fallen and rolling over and crushing him He was a married man with a family.
