NEW ZEALAND IN GOOD DEMAND. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copy rigH Received Jan. 2, 5.5 pan. London, Dec. 30. Butter prices are irregular. There is a good demand for New Zealand finest at 120/- to 130/-; Australian 100/- to 108/-, exceptionally good lots bringing 110/-, unsalted 114/ to 118/-. Danish butter meets with slow trade at 154/- to 158/-. Some retailers are selling excellent Australian at 1/2 per pound.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. The New Zealand Loan and Meroantilo Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date December 30:— New Zealand butter.—Choicest salted, £6 to £6 10s per owt.; good demand for large supplies. Cheese.— £4 6s to .£4 12s per cwt.; good demand at reduction. EIG SHIPMENT IN AMERICA. Received Jan. 2, 7.5 p.m. San Francisco, Dec. 30-, Australian and New Zealand butter totalling 403,0861b5, making thirteen cartloads, eastern points.
