THE MYSTERY MURDER.
THE BOURNEMOUTH SENSATION. BEX MANIAC SUSPECTED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 7.25 p.m. London, Dec. &9. A countryside hunt for the murderer of Miss Wilkins, is being made, but thus far no clue has been found. At least four cars are supposed to have been seen at the Bournemouth station on the evening of the murder. Vast stretches of the New Forest have been explored in vain and the river at Christchurch has been dragged. It is believed the murderer is a sex maniac and likely to make a second attempt in view of his success. A postman narrates that he saw a car standing on the roadway with lights dimmed within ten yards of the bank at the time the murder was apparently going on. There t was nobody in the' ear. thought they were a courting couple and I didn’t investigate,” he said. The most promising clue consists of three telegrams with curious spelling sent to Wilkins by other women. These have been published in every newspaper, and hotelkeepers have been asked to identify the writing. Several motorists have been detained and released.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. ' \
