GERMAN MONARCHISTS.
SECRET SOCIETY DISCOVERED. THIRTY ARRESTS MADE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Berlin, Dec. 28. A 'branch of the secret organisation known as the Erhaidt Brigade, who work for the restoration of the monarchy, was discovered by the French at Dusseldorf. Thirty arrests were made. i Captain Erhardt, who is living at Innsbruck, is the head of the organisation, and sends orders to a staff of personally appointed officers, who flit from place to place to avoid discovery. The creation of a strong army and the laying in of stores, arms and ammunition, are among the aims of the organisation, which holds a secret court, where even death sentences are passed members of the inner circle carrying out the sentences. It is believed the assassins of Herren Erzberger and Gareis belonged to this band, which is estimated to comprise 16,000 members.
