BOXING.
WELTER-WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Tauranga, Dec. 29. At the boxing contest last night the principal event was the professional match of fifteen three-minute rounds for the welter championship of New Zealand, between F. Brown (Invercargill) and J. Graham (Auckland). Graham sent Brown to the mat twice in. the fifth round, and knocked him out at the beginning of the sixth.
