A WEALTHY MAN’S END. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 28, 7.2 p.m. London. Dec. 28. Mr. Alan Bradbury left an estate of £140,000. He was formerly a director of Bradbury, Son and Company, coal merchants, of Southampton, and died in prison, serving a sentence of two years passed in July, 1920. for defrauding the Government o'f £52,000 by false income tax and excess profits returns. The coroner described the case as a hard one. Deceased was -unaware of the frauds, but was legally liable for the actions of his employees.—Aus.-N.Z. Ca'ble Assn.
