SCULLING.

ARNST v. HADFIELD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Dee. 23. With '.ess than a fortnight to go to the date of the, world's championship race both Arnst and Hadfield are hard at it putting the finishing touches on training operations. Arnst has brought himself, bj' careful training, down to the weight at which l lie reckons to row. and is now confining himself chiefly to work on the river. He is looking remarkably well and rowing with much of his old-time pace. Apparently Hadfield is shaping better now than ever, and, in a trial spin over the full course yesterday, registered a rattling good time, though he had a strong wind against him.
